2. Description of Service

Harpoon SMS provides mobile application and web services that enable users to:

  • Backup SMS messages to the cloud
  • Track Mobile Money (MoMo) transactions
  • Generate financial reports and analytics
  • Sync messages across multiple devices

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use our Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

4. Account Registration

To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Keep your account credentials secure
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Be responsible for all activities under your account

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose

6. Subscriptions and Payments

Free Plan

Paid Plans

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly. By subscribing, you agree to:

  • Pay the applicable fees
  • Automatic renewal unless cancelled
  • Provide valid payment information

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months.

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to our data practices as described therein.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Harpoon SMS and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HARPOON SMS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Harpoon SMS from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Ghana, without regard to conflict of law principles.
